Enchantment is useful
Enchantment refers to the practice of placing a spell inside an item. Each spell that can be enchanted has a recharge rate. This describes how long it takes for the charge to be created. The recharge and cooldown (for normal casting as well as enchantment) begins after the duration has ended.Limits
You cannot just enchant anything you like or as much as you like, enchanting objects is a draining process. A mage must build up magical power before they can make the enchantment, they can make up to 2 enchantments per year. A mage may not have more than 4 enchanted spells on their person or they will all cease to work, a Chosen One can manage the power of up to 4 spells and an extra one per level and normal people can only manage one. Enchantments held by normal people take 10 times as long to recharge.Mages can only enchant spells that they can cast, a low tier mage cannot enchant mid tier spells. Additionally, high tier mages may only enchant 1 high tier spell a turn (though they can still use the rest of their points on low and mid tier enchantments). Enchanted items look no different to non-enchanted items but holding one will reveal to the holder that it is enchanted.
Cost
To enchant an item costs materials, the cost is dependent on the tier of the spell.- Low tier - 0.1 materials
- Mid tier - 0.25 materials
- High tier - 1 material
