The deities of the Chosen Ones

The Chosen Ones (that's the race your people start as) have 10 of their own gods and goddesses. These deities ascended from mortal form and are now completely spiritual. It took great power and many followers to achieve this but they did it for the good of all the Chosen Ones. The deities have the ability to resurrect fallen Chosen Ones and will do so to any of their favoured ones (that'd be all player characters that follow them).

Earning the privilege of more than one chance is not hard to come by, all you need to do is achieve your aims in a manner that the deity approves of. Khystrik for example expects you to follow your passions, to not take a calm and measured approach while his opposite Pherrith will expect you to never rush in but to wait and think. Some deities lend themselves better to different actions than others but they don't mind what you do, just how you do it.

If resurrected by a deity, it will be exactly 12 months after the death occurred and will be inside a temple. If there is no temple, the resurrection cannot happen.

Nomads

Temples are normally required for resurrection. In the case of nomads this is of course impossible. If a team has no cities then the deities will consent to raise chosen in group of at least 50,000 of their people and will take a stricter view on their principles that they expect you to follow.

Sacrifice

It pleases the deities to see you give something up for them. Each has an optional sacrifice that you can make and as long as you keep it up and follow their ways, they will bless you and your people in some way. You do not have to make the sacrifice, it is completely optional. All sacrifice tests apply to the last 3 turns.
